Almost seven years and I am just now starting to seriously think about getting engaged. It's given us a lot of time to just enjoy being together with friends and family. Also the time has really shown me that we are compatible with plans, family, and friends.

I think you can never really know. My boyfriend/myself have been dating for three years. We have discussed finances/children/what we want in a wedding and have already said we plan on marrying each other, but alas - I still have not received a proposal. Supposedly, he is waiting for a certain financial benchmark so he can "take care of me". While extremely frustrating, I think it is best to wait until he thinks he is ready - whenever that may be.

I think its still to early. you both should give it sometime. In five months you can't really know the person. Im gonna make five years with my boyfriend and he just recently proposed to me. Take your time I promise you won't regret it

So my boyfriend and I have been together for the last 5 months. We’ve been talking a lot about the future and what we want to do and get and such like that. And he’s been telling me that he has been thinking of ways to propose to me. And we’ve talked about like houses and children and just about everything there is possible. We are really serious about each other and love spending time together as much as possible. Should I be expecting a proposal soon or no? Thank you. Kaitlyn.
