Thank you for your comment. Many jewelers will buy diamonds. It is best to talk to a reputable local jeweler for more information about selling your diamond.

-- Contributed by: MayntzI would never buy another ring from Diamonds International. We went on a cruise and the cruise ship recommened DI. My husband bought a Tanzanite and diamond ring in Stepember 2008 but my husband gave it to me for Christmas. After Christmas I wore it about five times on Sundays. A part of the prong from the setting broke off. I took it to a local jewery store. They wouldn't repair it because they said the setting was not strong enough for the large stone and I could lose it. I am going to have to pay to get a new setting for the ring becaue DI used a setting that was not strong enough or made well enough to last when a person wears it five times. DI will not fix it. It had been over 30 days since I bought it. I would recommend if you are going to spend a large amount of money on a ring to buy it locally. The local jewelers will stand behind their jewery. It was so hard just to get in touch with someone to talk to with DI. They would not help at all.

-- Contributed by: MayntzJim - We are not a Diamonds International retailer or affiliate; you would need to contact the company directly to see what matching wedding bands they may have available.
-- Contributed by: MayntzI am the sister of Dave Hay a good customer of yours. Over the summer I sent a single diamond earring to have a match made and have not heard anything. Can you please confirm if you ever received this.
-- Contributed by: Enter your name hereWe recently bought a Hearts of diamond engagement ring and (not hearts of diamond)wedding ring in Skagway, Alaska. We were in a rush to get back to the ship and did not know you could get a hearts of diamond matching wedding band. Is it too late to get the hearts of diamond wedding band?

You can also use the credit card statements to help verify the initial value and the purchase date, which will help the company track down the details. Be aware, however, that after more than a year the paperwork may no longer be available. If you registered the purchase with Carnival's shopping guarantee, you can also contact Carnival for assistance in locating the relevant details.
-- Contributed by: MayntzGreetings and Be Blessed,
I really need your assistance.
Last year (Jan.(?) 2007) I spoke to two representatives (a go between for the company, "Diamond International" St. Maarten) more than once regarding the purchase of a diamond necklace (I believe the value may have been around $2,100.00.) My husband purchased this item for my Christmas present, by using his debit/credit card, I believe. Somehow, On the same day (either Dec. 19 or Dec. 21, 2007) I lost all of the paperwork related to this purchase while still in St. Maarten. I've sent faxes that included detailed information, hoping to receive at least a duplicate set of papers (receipt showing cost and authenticity). I was emailed a form also to complete and return by fax, which is what I did. While we were treated nicely in the store, the two operators who I spoke with, who act as a "go between" said they would contact Diamond International. After hearing nothing for quite some time from Diamond International or the reps, I called again and was apologized to because it was assumed that I had received my requested paperwork. After docking from aboard the "Carnival Valor," my husband and I took a water taxi to get to this particular location. I have no additional detailed information to offer you at this time. My paperwork is at home, and I'm sending this from my job.
Is my request out of the ordinary? It would be greatly appreciated if I could get some assistance. Thank you.
